Margot Rutigliano - Founder, Personal Trainer & Wellness Teacher
Margot Rutigliano, the founder of Vita Vie Retreat, has spent the last 10+ years as a personal trainer and nutrition instructor. A native of Indianapolis, IN, Margot moved to South Carolina where she attended the College of Charleston and studied Corporate Communications. After college she began working in retail management but was constantly looking for more out of her career. The daughter of a breast cancer survivor, she realized how important it is to remain, active, healthy and fit which stemmed her quest to dive into the health and fitness industry. She received her personal training certification through ACE, the American Council on Exercise, and began her quest in helping people become healthier and happier. An instrumental part in the creation of Boot Camp sports conditioning programs in Mount Pleasant, SC, Margot has also worked one on one and in group settings for many years with a number of clients with goals spanning from weight loss to marathon training. In 2000 she joined forces with the ZonePerfect Nutrition Program and studied at their headquarters in Salem, MA. She is a registered nutrition instructor for the ZonePerfect Nutrition Program and helps people all over the country meet their nutrition and weight loss goals.
In 2004, she decided it was time to take her knowledge and desire to help people in a new direction. She created Vita Vie Retreat, an idea that came to her after years of watching people's desires to acheive their goals be hindered by life and all things related to it. Her dedication to Vita Vie Retreat guests and the success of it's programs and clients is what drives her. She focuses the majority of her time towards helping people feel better about themselves and developing strategies to aid them in the process. She offers continued support for a lifetime even after the retreat is over. Guests continue to call her for nutrition and fitness advice or just to be reassured about the road ahead.
