Top 4 Reasons To Attend A Fitness Retreat
Have you ever thought about joining us for a retreat but wondered what the benefits would be? More importantly, have you considered a fitness vacation but just aren’t sure if you ‘d like it or what it would be like? Rest assured, you’re not alone. We receive many emails and phone calls each week from curious potential clients wondering what the fuss is all about. In addition, many people ask us why they should attend a fitness retreat – and more specifically our fitness retreat. So to answer the questions, I’ve put together a list of our top four reasons why you should attend a fitness retreat.
Reason 1: Get Out Of Your Environment
This is hands the number one reason why I believe a fitness retreat is such a great benefit. It gets you out of your own environment and into one that’s active, healthy and a departure from everyday life. Often times it’s a huge struggle to try to reach health and fitness goals when you’re bogged down by work, family, friends and just the stress and chaos of your everyday life. Getting yourself to a fitness retreat brings a rejuvenating element and a fresh environment to motivate you.
In the case of attending one of our retreats, we’re set in a beautiful seaside town with workouts on the beach, at local parks and in our private indoor studio. Set at The Seagate Hotel & Spa, a serene environment with healthy fare, sparkling pools and total body relaxation awaits you.
Reason 2: Inspiration
How nice is it to get out of your norm and get some inspiration? Get inspired by new workouts and new classes that you might not have tried before. Get inspired by healthy food ideas. Get inspired by setting new goals. Get inspired by fresh ocean breezes and lying in the warm sun. Get inspired by the people you meet (both the instructors and other people at the retreat). Enjoy a fitness retreat that will bring you new perspective and new ideas!
Reason 3: Get Uncomfortable
Get out of your comfort zone! How’s that working for you? That seems like a rather simple question but there’s a lot of truth to it. If what you’re doing now isn’t working, it may be time to switch things up. Sometimes change is propelled by getting out of your comfort zone and getting uncomfortable. Change up your workouts. Change up your food. Change your environment. We tend to do the things that we like to do and that we’re comfortable with. Getting out of your comfort zone might just be the thing to create and embrace change.
Reason 4: You Won’t Need A Vacation From Your Vacation
There’s a time and a purpose for all types of vacations. That being said, how many times have you gone on a vacation and returned home without feeling refreshed and rejuvenated? Attending a fitness retreat will leave you feeling like a new person rather than tired, overstuffed and under rested. Imagine a vacation where you’re active, fuel your body with healthy food that’s prepared for you and get to rest and enjoy spa treatments? Sound like a dream for your body and mind? It is!
